The Richmond Hill Golf and Country Club

The Richmond Hill Golf Course had 9 holes, and because of the area's hilly terrain, not one was on level ground. That might be why, as one newspaper reported, many members seemed to prefer the club house to the links. Using today's landmarks, the club house was located just below Beverly Road between Audley Street and 83rd Avenue. After the Golf Course closed, the club house was moved down Audley Street where it survived in slightly modified form as a private home. In 2005, the original house was torn down and has been rebuilt by new owners.
