The Long Island Railroad
Station

This circa 1920 picture postcard of the Kew Gardens Long Island Railroad Station predates the construction of the Mowbray Apartments in 1923. It also predates the 1925 two story building that today houses the Bliss Cafe and the Austin Ale House. The building on Lefferts Boulevard [picture postcard - upper right] is the old Kew Gardens Country Club which can be viewed on the next page. The distant building to the left of the station house is Kew Hall. For more views of the station, you can return to the Long Island Railroad Album.
