The Homestead Hotel

The Homestead Hotel was built in 1921 on Grenfell Street, just off Lefferts Boulevard, across from the Kew Gardens Long Island Railroad Station. It offered apartments for both residential and transient guests, and provided area residents with first class restaurants. The Homestead was one of two Kew Gardens Hotels at the time. The second was the Kew Gardens Inn which opened in 1920.
