| Featured Photographs: Images of America - Maple Grove Cemetery. This image is probably 115 years old. Using present day landmarks, you are standing at the southwest corner of Lefferts Boulevard and Austin Street looking toward the Mowbray Apartments. The small building in the background is the station house for the Maple Grove Station of the Long Island Railroad which stood a few hundred feet east of the present day Kew Gardens Station. The tracks are in the foreground, but hidden in a depression. To the right of the station house are new tombstones for sale.
