- In the left hand image, Owen P. White probably refers to writer and editor Owen Payne white, but I cannot find what connection he had to Kew Gardens.
- In the right hand images, "PEACHE$" refers to Peaches Browning whose 1926 - 27 marriage to and divorce from wealthy realtor, Edward West Browning, was one of the biggest scandals ever.
