Postcard from Kew

The opening of the Long Island Railroad Station in 1910 caused a housing boom in Kew Gardens (then known as the Kew section of Richmond Hill). The writer of this 1911 postcard was most impressed by it all:
"Twenty to Thirty thousand dollars this [sic] houses are worth. 14 min. to Herald Square from Richmond Hill. If you ever get down to see us, I will take you over there."
