1908 Cemetery Brochure

"The work of improvement at Maple Grove Cemetery was commenced in May, 1875. The first interment was made February 12, 1876. The total number of interments up to January 1, 1908 was 8434. In the recently improved portion of the Cemetery the Landscape Lawn Plan is followed. The disuse of enclosures is found to be a great improvement in every way."
