1908 Cemetery Brochure

"Maple Grove Cemetery is situated in the Borough of Queens on the ridge extending through Long Island, commonly called the backbone of the Island. It presents a beautiful expanse of hill and dale, well covered with noble oaks and maples, and seems a place most providently selected for the repose of the dead. Visitors find it a restful spot, well removed from the tumult of the city."
