A Long Island Railroad train out of Richmond Hill passes through Forest Park headed for an East River Terminal in Williamsburgh.
"[Forest Park] sits on an ancient glacial ridge. The third largest park in Queens, it covers 538 acres, 411 of them wooded, and dates back to 1895. Frederick Law Olmstead, the architect of Central Park, designed Forest Park's main drive. Its magnificent headquarters is located in a colonial gambrel called Oak Ridge. Victory Field boasts a running track, ball fields, and handball courts. It also features the Seuffert Band Shell which has seasonal concerts."
