85th Avenue

These pictures show the same cross streets as the last page (85th Avenue and 124th Street) except that the view is on 85th Avenue looking west rather than 124th Street looking north. Like many Kew Gardens streets, 85th Avenue has gone through several names - being known first as Central Avenue and later as Ashland Avenue. It has now replaced 84th Avenue in many people's minds as the dividing line between Kew Gardens and Richmond Hill.
